Mini-Pupillage

St John’s Chambers offers mini-pupillages throughout the year and only offers a maximum of two mini-pupillages per week.

We feel that this offers mini-pupils the best possible experience of life in our chambers, but unfortunately it does mean that the number of mini-pupillages we can offer is limited.

Applicants must be in the second year of their degree course or above. If you wish to apply for a mini-pupillage you must apply in writing with a detailed curriculum vitae and covering letter. You must include full details of the results of all examinations taken to date as without this information applications cannot be considered.

Applications for mini-pupillage are considered on a quarterly basis and must be received by: 31st January, 30th April, 31st July and 31st October. Any applications received outside these dates will not be dealt with until the next relevant deadline.

Our mini-pupillages are not formally assessed but will be taken into consideration if you choose to apply to us for pupillage. We do not offer financial assistance to mini-pupils.
